Fork material
When it comes to the fork, this bike has a steel one, which tends to be more flexible than carbon forks in general. However, a carbon fork is considerably lighter.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the BEYOND 1 model has 27.5″ aluminum wheels. 27.5″ wheels are a mixture between 29″ wheels and 26″ wheels. However, these wheels have a slower top speed if you compare them to 29″ wheels.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The BEYOND 1 comes with Mechanical Disc brakes. These brakes are also very popular, and a lot cheaper than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
