Overview of components
Fork
The Pulsar 1 comes factory-installed with the Suntour M 3010 fork. This has a travel range of 63mm. Bike forks absorb the shocks and give you a smooth and pleasant ride. In short, make sure you choose one with a decent fork when you purchase your dream bike.
Wheels
The wheels on Pulsar 1 are the 26″ aluminum type. The 26″ wheels are lighter than the 27.5 or 29″ wheels. However, they are less forgiving when riding over obstacles such as bumps and roots.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Bulls Pulsar 1 is equipped with Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
