Overview of components
Fork material
The fork on this bike is made out of carbon, so, it won’t add up to much weight to your bike. However, the price you have to pay for a carbon fork is considerably higher.
Wheels size
When leaving the production line, the ADV 2.2 model has 700c aluminum wheels. These wheels are the most used kind for road bikes in general. However, these wheels don’t perform so well when passing over obstacles.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Co-op ADV 2.2 has Mechanical Disc brakes installed. They are much easier to maintain than hydraulic disk brakes. However, performance-wise there is room for improvement.
Sizes
ADV 2.2 comes in 5 sizes, that range from 156 cm – 195 cm (5.12 ft – 6.4 ft). In conclusion, it won’t take much to find one that’s right for you.
