Overview of components
Fork
The Switch Xpert comes factory-installed with the RockShox 35 Silver fork. This has a travel range of 160mm. Bike forks are good shock absorbers and provide a smooth ride and a great experience. To sum up, when buying a bicycle, make sure you get a fork that is capable of delivering decent travel.
Rear Shock
From the factory, it comes with the RockShox Deluxe Select+ RT rear shock model, which has a travel of 150mm. Rear shocks offer better comfort, better traction, and better cornering. This allows for quicker riding on rough roads and trails. In short, a full-suspension bike will give you the smoothest ride possible.
Wheels
The Switch Xpert 2021 e-bike is equipped with 27.5″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. 27.5″ wheels will reach higher speeds than smaller-sized wheels. However, these wheels have a slower top speed if you compare them to 29″ wheels.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. CTM Switch Xpert has Mechanical Disc brakes installed. They deliver good performance and cost less than hydraulic disk brakes. However, with hydraulic disk brakes, you have the ultimate braking power!
