Overview of components
Fork
Diamondback Sync’r Pro 2017 bike is equipped with the Fox Performance Float 34 fork, and has 130mm travel. Bike forks are great for shock absorption and provide you with a smooth ride. In conclusion, always look for a fork with decent travel when you buy a bike.
Fork material
Sync’r Pro has an aluminum fork, so there won’t be much extra weight added to the bike. However, they are not so stiff as carbon forks are.
Wheels
When it comes to wheels, the Sync’r Pro bike is equipped with the 27.5″ aluminum model. 27.5″ wheels are a mixture between 29″ wheels and 26″ wheels. However, the overall traction of 27.5″ wheels is lower than 29″ wheels.
Brakes
Stopping the bike when needed, it’s essential for your safety. This bike has Hydraulic Disc brakes. Hydraulic disc brakes provide amazing stopping power, no matter what the terrain. To sum up, these are ideal for anyone.
Sizes
Sync’r Pro comes in 4 sizes, that range from 158 cm – 199 cm (5.18 ft – 6.53 ft). In short, you can easily find one that suits you.
Dropper post
Diamondback Sync’r Pro includes a dropper post. A dropper post is a must-have these days if you’re riding anything remotely technical. The main benefit of a dropper post is increased safety while riding. As mentioned above, the lever system allows you to quickly move the saddle out of the way when approaching descents or trail obstacles.
