Fork material
Weekender Nomad has a steel fork, which is tougher than carbon in the case of an impact. However, it can add some extra weight to the bike.
Wheels
When it comes to wheels, the Weekender Nomad bike is equipped with the aluminum model. 650b wheels make a great choice if you want to sacrifice speed for comfort. However, if speed is what you’re after, 700c wheels are a better fit.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Fairdale Weekender Nomad has Mechanical Disc brakes installed. They are much easier to maintain than hydraulic disk brakes. However, performance-wise there is room for improvement.
