Fork material
Absolute 3.0 has an aluminum fork, which doesn’t add too much extra weight to the bike. However, it is not so stiff as steel or carbon forks are.
Wheels size
The wheels on Absolute 3.0 are the 700c aluminum type. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, these wheels don’t perform so well when passing over obstacles.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Absolute 3.0 comes with Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
