Overview of components
Fork material
When it comes to the fork, this bike has a steel one, which tends to be more flexible than carbon forks in general. However, a carbon fork is considerably lighter.
Wheels
As for the wheels, Fuji Ace 650 (US only) 2008, has a 27.5″ aluminum model. 27.5″ wheels are a mixture between 29″ wheels and 26″ wheels. However, these wheels have a slower top speed if you compare them to 29″ wheels.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Fuji Ace 650 (US only) is equipped with Rim brakes. Rim brakes deliver an average performance overall. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
