Overview of components
Fork material
The fork is made out of aluminum, so there won’t be much extra weight added to the bike. However, they are not so stiff as carbon forks are.
Wheels size
The wheels on Flightline 24 Plus are the 24″ aluminum type. This wheel size is used on bike models like BMX, children, or folding bikes. In conclusion, you can use them better on-road, and less on technical terrain.
Brakes
When you want to stop the bike in time, the brakes are vital. The Flightline 24 Plus has Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
