Safety
Your safety should be the top priority when you go for a ride. In short, make sure that you always use a helmet, high visibility clothing, and proper lights when riding at night-time.
Average price for Enduro e-bikes
If you want an acceptable Enduro e-bike you should know that the average price is 4785$. However, even though the average price of an Enduro e-bike is lower, you might still be able to get a top-quality e-bike. As a general rule of thumb, you should always read reviews about the e-bike and its components before buying it to ensure you don’t pay too much.
Durango 1.0 components
Fork
The Durango 1.0 comes factory-installed with the RockShox Recon Silver RL fork. This has a travel range of 150mm. Bike forks are good shock absorbers and provide a smooth ride and a great experience. In short, you should always ensure you have a good fork when purchasing a bike.
Rear Shock
The shock that’s installed on this e-bike is Rock Shox Select R trunion, with a travel distance of 150mm. Rear shocks improve riding comfort and give you greater control over all terrains. In short, a full-suspension bike will give you the smoothest ride possible.
Wheels size
When leaving the production line, the Durango 1.0 model has 29″ aluminum wheels. With 29″ wheels, bumps will feel lighter and you’ll gain more speed on descends, compared to smaller wheel-sized bikes. However, the 29″ wheels will add a little more weight to the e-bike itself.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Durango 1.0 comes with Mechanical Disc brakes. They deliver good performance and cost less than hydraulic disk brakes. However, with hydraulic disk brakes, you have the ultimate braking power!
Sizes
HEAD Durango 1.0 2023 is available in one size only. In short, make sure you double-check if it fits you.
Dropper post
Every bike should have a dropper post, and this one does. A dropper post is a must-have these days if you’re riding anything remotely technical. The main benefit of a dropper post is increased safety while riding. As mentioned above, the lever system allows you to quickly move the saddle out of the way when approaching descents or trail obstacles.
