ROVE components
Fork material
When it comes to the fork, this bike has a steel one, so, it can add some extra weight to your bike. However, steel is a pretty tough and durable material.
Wheels size
As for the wheels, Kona ROVE 2014, has a 700c aluminum model. There is no doubt, that 700c wheels are very popular on all road bike models. However, these wheels don’t perform so well when passing over obstacles.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The ROVE comes with Mechanical Disc brakes. They deliver good performance and cost less than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
