Fork material
The fork is made out of steel, which tends to be more flexible than carbon forks in general. However, a carbon fork is considerably lighter.
Wheels
When it comes to wheels, the Larkspur CS2 bike is equipped with the 700c aluminum model. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Larkspur CS2 comes with Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
