OPEN JUNIOR S components
Fork material
The fork is made out of aluminum, which doesn’t add too much extra weight to the bike. However, it is not so stiff as steel or carbon forks are.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the OPEN JUNIOR S model has 20″ aluminum wheels. The 20″ wheels are a good fit for folding bikes, BMX, or children bikes. In conclusion, they are great for flat ground or very easy trails.
Brakes
When you want to stop the bike in time, the brakes are vital. The OPEN JUNIOR S has Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
