Matts 6. 40-MD components
Fork
This bike has the SunTour XCT fork installed. The fork’s travel is mm. Bike forks are good shock absorbers and provide a smooth ride and a great experience. To sum up, when buying a bicycle, make sure you get a fork that is capable of delivering decent travel.
Wheels size
The Matts 6. 40-MD 2015 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. These wheels give you great handling over your bike. However, you will need increased suspension than in the case of 29″ wheels.
Brakes
When you want to stop the bike in time, the brakes are vital. The Matts 6. 40-MD has Mechanical Disc brakes. They deliver good performance and cost less than hydraulic disk brakes. However, performance-wise there is room for improvement.
