Podium Carbon RR components
Fork
The RockShox SID SL Ultimate is included from the factory. It has a travel distance of 100mm. Bike forks absorb the shocks and give you a smooth and pleasant ride. To sum it all, when buying a bike, ensure that you look for a fork capable of decent travel.
Fork material
The fork is made out of aluminum, which doesn’t add too much extra weight to the bike. However, it is not so stiff as steel or carbon forks are.
Wheels size
When leaving the production line, the Podium Carbon RR model has 29″ carbon wheels. These wheels are more forgiving when you go over roots, rocks, bumps, or other obstacles you encounter on your ride. However, the 29″ wheels will add a little more weight to the bike itself.
Brakes
When you want to stop the bike in time, the brakes are vital. The Podium Carbon RR has Hydraulic Disc brakes. With Hydraulic Disc brakes, you’ll be able to stop on a dime, even in wet or icy conditions. To sum up, these are ideal for anyone.
Sizes
This bike is available in 4 sizes. They vary from 158 cm – 199 cm (5.18 ft – 6.53 ft). In short, you can easily find one that suits you.
