SHORE THREE components
Fork
The fork installed on this bike is the RockShox Domain model. The travel on this model is 180mm. Bike forks are great for shock absorption and provide you with a smooth ride. In short, make sure you choose one with a decent fork when you purchase your dream bike.
Fork material
The fork on this bike is made out of aluminum, which doesn’t add too much extra weight to the bike. However, it is not so stiff as steel or carbon forks are.
Rear Shock
From the factory, it comes with the Fox Van R Coil rear shock model, which has a travel of 150mm. Bike rear shocks are a great way to increase comfort on the bike and give you more control when riding on technical trails. In short, if you want smooth rides, get a full-suspension bicycle.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the SHORE THREE model has 26″ aluminum wheels. These wheels give you great handling over your bike. However, they are less forgiving when riding over obstacles such as bumps and roots.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Norco SHORE THREE is equipped with Hydraulic Disc brakes. With Hydraulic Disc brakes, you’ll be able to stop on a dime, even in wet or icy conditions. To sum up, your safety is in good hands.
Sizes
There are 3 sizes available for this model. Rider height can be anywhere between 158 cm – 187 cm (5.18 ft – 6.14 ft). In conclusion, finding one for you shouldn’t be a problem.
