From the factory, it comes with the Fox DHX RC 2 Performance coil (8.75″x2.75″) rear shock model, which has a travel of 180mm. Bike rear shocks are a great way to increase comfort on the bike and give you more control when riding on technical trails. In conclusion, to increase your riding experience, get a bike with a rear shock if possible.
