Stage 5 Factory components
Fork
The Fox Factory Float 36 is included from the factory. It has a travel distance of 140mm. Bike forks absorb the shocks and give you a smooth and pleasant ride. To sum up, when buying a bicycle, make sure you get a fork that is capable of delivering decent travel.
Rear Shock
From the factory, it comes with the FOX Float X2 Factory rear shock model, which has a travel of 135mm. Bike rear shocks are a great way to increase comfort on the bike and give you more control when riding on technical trails. In short, if you want smooth rides, get a full-suspension bicycle.
Wheels
As for the wheels, Orange Stage 5 Factory 2018, has a 29″ aluminum model. With 29″ wheels, bumps will feel lighter and you’ll gain more speed on descends, compared to smaller wheel-sized bikes. However, the 29″ wheels will add a little more weight to the bike itself.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Stage 5 Factory comes with Hydraulic Disc brakes. Hydraulic disc brakes are perfect for mountain biking, road cycling, and commuting. To sum up, your safety is in good hands.
Sizes
There are 3 sizes available for this model. Rider height can be anywhere between 165 cm – 198 cm (5.41 ft – 6.5 ft). In short, it won’t be difficult to find the right one for you.
Dropper post
A dropper post is included with the Stage 5 Factory. Therefore, climbing or descending will be a breeze.
