Average price for Youth bikes
If you want to purchase a solid Youth bike, it is important to know that the average cost is 278$. However, even though the average price of a Youth bike is lower, you might still be able to get a top-quality bike. In conclusion, always check bike reviews and their components before making a purchase to make sure you don’t overpay.
Allez Jr. components
Fork material
The fork on this bike is made out of aluminum, which is a lighter material. However, it is not as tough, nor durable as steel is.
Wheels
The Allez Jr. 2016 bike is equipped with 27.5″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. These wheels will provide you with more control over the bike. However, the overall traction of 27.5″ wheels is lower than 29″ wheels.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Specialized Allez Jr. has Rim brakes installed. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
Sizes
Specialized Allez Jr. 2016 is available in one size only. In short, make sure you double-check if it fits you.
