Dolce Elite Compact components
Fork material
When it comes to the fork, this bike has a carbon one, so, its weight is considerably lighter than one made out of steel. However, they cost a bit more than steel forks.
Wheels size
The Dolce Elite Compact 2010 bike is equipped with 700c aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. There is no doubt, that 700c wheels are very popular on all road bike models. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Dolce Elite Compact comes with Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
