Fork
The SunTour NEX is included from the factory. It has a travel distance of 63mm. Bike forks absorb the shocks and give you a smooth and pleasant ride. In conclusion, always look for a fork with decent travel when you buy a bike.
Fork material
The fork is made out of aluminum, so there won’t be much extra weight added to the bike. However, they are not so stiff as carbon forks are.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the Expedition Sport Low Entry model has 26″ aluminum wheels. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, they provide less traction than 29″ wheels do.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Expedition Sport Low Entry comes with Rim brakes. Rim brakes deliver an average performance overall. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
