Hardrock Sport Disc components
Fork
The SunTour XCM is included from the factory. It has a travel distance of 80mm. Bike forks are perfect to absorb shocks and provide a great riding experience overall. In short, make sure you choose one with a decent fork when you purchase your dream bike.
Fork material
When it comes to the fork, this bike has an aluminum one, which is a lighter material. However, it is not as tough, nor durable as steel is.
Wheels size
When it comes to wheels, the Hardrock Sport Disc bike is equipped with the 26″ aluminum model. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, you will need increased suspension than in the case of 29″ wheels.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Specialized Hardrock Sport Disc is equipped with Mechanical Disc brakes. They are much easier to maintain than hydraulic disk brakes. However, with hydraulic disk brakes, you have the ultimate braking power!
