Average price for Hipster bikes
If you want an acceptable Hipster bike you should know that the average price is 612$. However, paying less money than this amount doesn’t mean that you couldn’t get a great Hipster bike. In short, before purchasing your ideal bike do some research about its components, and also check for reviews online.
Overview of components
Fork material
Langster has a carbon fork, so, its weight is considerably lighter than one made out of steel. However, they cost a bit more than steel forks.
Wheels size
The Langster 2013 bike is equipped with 700c aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. There is no doubt, that 700c wheels are very popular on all road bike models. However, these wheels don’t perform so well when passing over obstacles.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Langster comes with Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
