Average price for Hipster bikes
If you want an acceptable Hipster bike you should know that the average price is 612$. However, this doesn’t mean that if you spend less money on a Hipster bike, you couldn’t get a decent one. As a general rule of thumb, you should always read reviews about the bike and its components before buying it to ensure you don’t pay too much.
Overview of components
Fork material
Langster Durango has a carbon fork, so, it is super light and stiff. In conclusion, a carbon fork gives you great control when steering, and is also more forgiving.
Wheels size
The Langster Durango 2017 bike is equipped with 700c aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. These wheels are the most used kind for road bikes in general. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Specialized Langster Durango has Rim brakes installed. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, you could spend a little extra and get a bike that has hydraulic brakes.
