P.2 Cr-Mo components
Fork
The P.2 Cr-Mo comes factory-installed with the Marzocchi fork. This has a travel range of 80mm. Bike forks are good shock absorbers and provide a smooth ride and a great experience. In short, make sure you choose one with a decent fork when you purchase your dream bike.
Fork material
When it comes to the fork, this bike has a steel one, which is tougher than carbon in the case of an impact. However, it can add some extra weight to the bike.
Wheels size
When leaving the production line, the P.2 Cr-Mo model has 26″ aluminum wheels. These wheels give you great handling over your bike. However, they are less forgiving when riding over obstacles such as bumps and roots.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Specialized P.2 Cr-Mo is equipped with Mechanical Disc brakes. They deliver good performance and cost less than hydraulic disk brakes. However, performance-wise there is room for improvement.
