Safety
Your safety should be the top priority when you go for a ride. In short, make sure that you always use a helmet, high visibility clothing, and proper lights when riding at night-time.
Enduro bikes average price
If you want an acceptable Enduro bike you should know that the average price is 3599$. However, paying less money than this amount doesn’t mean that you couldn’t get a great Enduro bike. To make sure you don’t pay a higher amount than normal for your bike, always do some components analysis and read reviews.
Internal Cable Routing
It’s also important to mention the internal cable routing that this bike has. In short, this will allow you to keep your bike cables in great condition. Say goodbye to hanging cables.
S-Works Enduro 29 components
Fork
The S-Works Enduro 29 comes factory-installed with the RockShox Pike RCT3 fork. This has a travel range of 160mm. Bike forks are great for shock absorption and provide you with a smooth ride. In conclusion, always look for a fork with decent travel when you buy a bike.
Fork material
S-Works Enduro 29 has an aluminum fork, which doesn’t add too much extra weight to the bike. However, it is not so stiff as steel or carbon forks are.
Rear Shock
From the factory, it comes with the Custom Cane Creek DB AIR Inline rear shock model, which has a travel of 155mm. Bike rear shocks increase the riding comfort, and also give you more control over technical trails. To sum up, always consider getting a bike that has a rear shock as well.
Wheels
The wheels on S-Works Enduro 29 are the 29″ carbon type. With 29″ wheels, bumps will feel lighter and you’ll gain more speed on descends, compared to smaller wheel-sized bikes. However, the 29″ wheels will add a little more weight to the bike itself.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Specialized S-Works Enduro 29 is equipped with Hydraulic Disc brakes. Hydraulic disc brakes are perfect for mountain biking, road cycling, and commuting. To sum up, these are ideal for anyone.
Sizes
This bike is available in 3 sizes. They vary from 165 cm – 198 cm (5.41 ft – 6.5 ft). In conclusion, you won’t have a problem finding one that suits you.
Dropper post
Specialized S-Works Enduro 29 includes a dropper post. If used correctly, a dropper post gives you more faith, maneuverability, and greater control over your bike.
