Overview of components
Fork material
The fork on this bike is made out of carbon, so, it is super light and stiff. In conclusion, a carbon fork gives you great control when steering, and is also more forgiving.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the Tricross Expert model has 700c carbon wheels. There is no doubt, that 700c wheels are very popular on all road bike models. However, these wheels don’t perform so well when passing over obstacles.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Tricross Expert comes with Rim brakes. Rim brakes deliver an average performance overall. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
