Fork material
The fork is made out of steel, which tends to be more flexible than carbon forks in general. However, a carbon fork is considerably lighter.
Wheels
The wheels on Karate Monkey SS are the 26″ aluminum type. The 26″ wheels are lighter than the 27.5 or 29″ wheels. However, you will need increased suspension than in the case of 29″ wheels.
