Average price for Hipster bikes
If you want to purchase a solid Hipster bike, it is important to know that the average cost is 612$. However, this doesn’t mean that if you spend less money on a Hipster bike, you couldn’t get a decent one. To sum up, when you purchase your bike, make sure to check if it has reviews, and also do some components research.
Steamroller components
Fork material
The fork is made out of steel, so, it can add some extra weight to your bike. However, steel is a pretty tough and durable material.
Wheels size
The wheels on Steamroller are the 700c aluminum type. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Surly Steamroller has Rim brakes installed. Rim brakes deliver an average performance overall. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
