The fork is made out of carbon, so, it won’t add up to much weight to your bike. However, the price you have to pay for a carbon fork is considerably higher.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the 1200 Flat Bar model has 700c aluminum wheels. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.
Brakes
Stopping the bike when needed, it’s essential for your safety. This bike has Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
