When leaving the production line, the 3900 Disc model has 26″ aluminum wheels. The 26″ wheels are lighter than the 27.5 or 29″ wheels. However, you will need increased suspension than in the case of 29″ wheels.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The 3900 Disc comes with Mechanical Disc brakes. They deliver good performance and cost less than hydraulic disk brakes. However, performance-wise there is room for improvement.
