7.6 FX components
Fork material
7.6 FX has a carbon fork, so, it won’t add up to much weight to your bike. However, the price you have to pay for a carbon fork is considerably higher.
Wheels
The 7.6 FX 2010 bike is equipped with 700c aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. These wheels are the most used kind for road bikes in general. However, these wheels don’t perform so well when passing over obstacles.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The 7.6 FX comes with Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
