Émonda ALR 6 components
Fork material
Émonda ALR 6 has a carbon fork, so, it’s a great addition to the bike’s value. However, carbon forks should be regularly inspected for damage because even the smallest crack could cause the fork to fall apart.
Wheels size
The wheels on Émonda ALR 6 are the 700c aluminum type. There is no doubt, that 700c wheels are very popular on all road bike models. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Trek Émonda ALR 6 has Rim brakes installed. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
