Ion Pro WSD components
Fork material
Ion Pro WSD has a carbon fork, so, its weight is considerably lighter than one made out of steel. However, they cost a bit more than steel forks.
Wheels
The Ion Pro WSD 2011 bike is equipped with 700c aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, these wheels don’t perform so well when passing over obstacles.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Ion Pro WSD comes with Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
