Aero bikes average price
If you want to purchase a solid Aero bike, it is important to know that the average cost is 4211$. However, paying less money than this amount doesn’t mean that you couldn’t get a great Aero bike. As a general rule of thumb, you should always read reviews about the bike and its components before buying it to ensure you don’t pay too much.
Madone SSL components
Fork material
The fork is made out of carbon, so, it’s a great addition to the bike’s value. However, carbon forks should be regularly inspected for damage because even the smallest crack could cause the fork to fall apart.
Wheels
The wheels on Madone SSL are the 700c aluminum type. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Madone SSL comes with Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, you could spend a little extra and get a bike that has hydraulic brakes.
Sizes
Madone SSL comes in 7 sizes, that range from 157 cm – 195 cm (5.15 ft – 6.4 ft). In conclusion, it won’t take much to find one that’s right for you.
