Crosscountry bikes average price
Our math shows that the average cost of a dependable Crosscountry bike is 1905$. However, this doesn’t mean that if you spend less money on a Crosscountry bike, you couldn’t get a decent one. In conclusion, always check bike reviews and their components before making a purchase to make sure you don’t overpay.
Marlin components
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the Marlin model has 27.5″ aluminum wheels. 27.5″ wheels are a mixture between 29″ wheels and 26″ wheels. However, the 27.5″ wheels are less forgiving than the 29″ wheels.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Trek Marlin is equipped with Mechanical Disc brakes. They deliver good performance and cost less than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
