Fork material
When it comes to the fork, this bike has a steel one, which is tougher than carbon in the case of an impact. However, it can add some extra weight to the bike.
Wheels size
The Navigator 100 2003 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, they are less forgiving when riding over obstacles such as bumps and roots.
Brakes
When you want to stop the bike in time, the brakes are vital. The Navigator 100 has Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
