Overview of components
Wheels
The Navigator 3.0 Equipped WSD 2009 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. These wheels give you great handling over your bike. However, you will need increased suspension than in the case of 29″ wheels.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Trek Navigator 3.0 Equipped WSD is equipped with Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, you could spend a little extra and get a bike that has hydraulic brakes.
