Safety
Your safety should be the top priority when you go for a ride. In short, make sure that you always use a helmet, high visibility clothing, and proper lights when riding at night-time.
BMX bikes average price
If you want an acceptable BMX bike you should know that the average price is 348$. However, this doesn’t mean that if you spend less money on a BMX bike, you couldn’t get a decent one. In conclusion, always check bike reviews and their components before making a purchase to make sure you don’t overpay.
PreCaliber SS components
Fork material
The fork is made out of steel, which is tougher than carbon in the case of an impact. However, it can add some extra weight to the bike.
Wheels size
The PreCaliber SS 2010 bike is equipped with 20″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. The 20″ wheels are a good fit for folding bikes, BMX, or children bikes. In conclusion, you can use them better on-road, and less on technical terrain.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Trek PreCaliber SS is equipped with Rim brakes. Rim brakes deliver an average performance overall. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
