Fork material
Pure has a steel fork, which tends to be more flexible than carbon forks in general. However, a carbon fork is considerably lighter.
Wheels
When it comes to wheels, the Pure bike is equipped with the 26″ aluminum model. These wheels give you great handling over your bike. However, they are less forgiving when riding over obstacles such as bumps and roots.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Pure comes with Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
