If you want to purchase a solid Comfort bike, it is important to know that the average cost is 360$. However, paying less money than this amount doesn’t mean that you couldn’t get a great Comfort bike. Pure DLX components
Fork material
The fork is made out of steel, so, it can add some extra weight to your bike. However, steel is a pretty tough and durable material.
Wheels size
When leaving the production line, the Pure DLX model has 26″ aluminum wheels. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, they provide less traction than 29″ wheels do.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Trek Pure DLX has Coaster brakes installed. Coaster brakes are among the oldest brake types you can find on a bike. However, they have flaws, especially if the chain falls off.
