Sole Ride 300 components

The Sole Ride 300 2006 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. The 26″ wheels are lighter than the 27.5 or 29″ wheels. However, you will need increased suspension than in the case of 29″ wheels.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Trek Sole Ride 300 has Rim brakes installed. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
