The fork is made out of steel, which is tougher than carbon in the case of an impact. However, it can add some extra weight to the bike.

The Vee 29 2013 2013 bike is equipped with 29″ wheels when leaving the factory. Having 29″ wheels means that you need less fork travel, leading to a reduction of the pedal bob effect. However, the 29″ wheels will add a little more weight to the bike itself.
Brakes
